I'm surprised at the bad reviews. This shaver is very much like the ES-4026 which is no longer made. The charger fits nicely on the top of the recepticle leaving room to plug in something else at the bottom. I don't understand why one of the reviews said this was a problem. The shave is about the same as as for the ES-4026. Same for the trimmer. As for durability, I'll have to wait and see.

After having the previous version of this razor for 6 years the battery finally started to quit. This is an excellent replacement. You can get razors with more blades and more features, but this razor meets my needs.

Of all the Panasonic Shavers, this is the one that gives you the most bang for your buck. They have better and more expensive models, but this one is definitely a best buy !
