5 stars because it deserves it,I have had a Remington shaver all my life,I am 63, this is a very good shaver and I would recommend it to any one who cares!Very quiet,easy to clean the head area of the shaver!!

This razor may not be the top quality of $100 razors, but it is solid and functions perfectly. The head pivot is a little rattly when following face contours, but the cut is very close and even. The head mechanism is easy to take apart for cleaning. The battery life is very good and the LED battery life indicators are very convenient. For the money, you can't beat it. (P.S. My previous NEW Panasonic inline razor was terrible, leaving hairs that it never again could cut. That's why I tried this unit.)

I read reviews that indicated that if you are the type who tends to let his beard go for a couple of days between shaves, than the rotary style is better than the foil. That tends to be my MO and this particular razor does the job at a fraction of the price. No razor burn and good enough results for daily activities if not formal events. I also like the ability to use it corded or cordless since I usually shave at the sink and cordless doesn't offer any real advantage and will eventually lead to having to replace your battery which can cost as much as the razor itself.
