I have owned a number of Panasonic shavers over the years. This replacement foil and blade set was not up to previous Panasonic standards. Considering how expensive they are, the foil/head part is cheaply made. The unit was very noisy and sounded like the part was not made to a very high tolerance. Because of the poor quality I wondered if the part was counterfeit but there is nothing to indicate that is the case. I thought it just needed to be broken in to adjust to my shaver and then would run more smoothly. Big mistake! It got worse instead of better. After many, many years with Panasonic, I am now using a Braun.

Got this as a replacement for the Panasonic ES8243, pretty sure there are some other models it fits as well. I dunna trust the indicator that tells you when blades needs replacing, had a set on my shaver for well over a year and with lots of shaving course hair they were starting to tug a bit. I got this as a complete replacement, both foil and blades, even though the manual says you only need to replace the blades.This set came in no frills packaging, has both the new blades and foil... basically replacing the whole top part of the shaver. Only part that keeps it from "perfection" is that its a different color than the old set and doesn't match color of my shaver anymore. Just letting y'all know in case that's gonna bug ya.

The Panasonic ES8243 is maybe the best shaver I've ever used, and this combination screen and blade set extends the life of the shaver.
